Access and authorization
The client must have lawful authority to provide systems, accounts, records, data, credentials, content, and instructions. Work may be paused or declined when authorization, identity, payment path, safety, or lawful delivery cannot be established.
Scope and outcomes
Price, schedule, providers, environments, security, data handling, acceptance, warranty, support, and ownership are determined in the agreement. Technical work cannot guarantee revenue, rankings, adoption, approval, certification, continuous availability, or legal compliance.
Third parties and intellectual property
Project terms should identify ownership and licences for custom work, client materials, open-source software, vendor services, pre-existing tools, and third-party content.
